  • General Admission Requirements

    • Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer or Telecommunication Engineering, or equivalent ICT-related discipline from a recognized institution.
    • Preference will be given to applicants with a First Class or Second-Class Division.
    • Applicants must submit two referees, one of whom must be an academic lecturer from their undergraduate programme.
    • Applicants with business-related degrees but foundational ICT backgrounds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Programme Objectives

    • Develop a critical understanding of advanced theoretical knowledge, methods, and concepts of information technology required to support business activities and operations.
    • Provide specialized technical and practical skills for planning, designing, and managing complex IT systems to solve real-world problems.
    • Develop transferable and professional skills to broaden employment opportunities in IT-related fields.
    • Equip students with advanced research skills to develop innovative IT solutions using diverse tools and technologies.
    • Prepare students to adapt to evolving technological environments through a solid understanding of fundamental theories and current practices.

    Specialization-Specific Objectives

    • Business Intelligence & Data Analytics: Equip students to collect, store, analyze, and mine structured and unstructured data using IT tools to provide competitive advantage.
    • Information Assurance: Train students to identify, develop, and implement robust defense mechanisms for securing networks and information assets.
    • Data Management: Develop capacity to organize, secure, and communicate data effectively to integrate IT solutions and meet enterprise information needs.
  • Graduates will be prepared for leadership roles as IT Consultants, Data Scientists, Cybersecurity Analysts, Systems Architects, or Database Administrators in both local and international industries.
