• The MPhil Computer Science is a 2-year postgraduate programme offered by the Department of Computer Science under the Faculty of Computing and Information Systems.

    It provides advanced research-oriented training in computer science, focusing on developing deep technical expertise and strong research skills.

    Applicants who complete the MSc Computer Science programme may progress into the MPhil Computer Science for further specialization and academic research.

    • MPhil Computer Science: 2 years

  • Bachelor’s Degree Applicants:

    Applicants must hold a minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Biology, Medicine). In some cases, a 1st Class Honours may be required depending on the research project.


    Foreign Applicants:

    All foreign qualifications in relevant fields will be evaluated by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) to determine equivalence and eligibility.
